Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Tom Atencio, VP of Affliction and he was kind enough to allow the conversation to be recorded for your hearing pleasure. We touched on many subjects in the interview as you’ll hear.

Just to summarize some of the topics:

Fedor will fight on the Affliction card set for the first quarter of 2009. Against who is still undecided.
Golden Boy and Affliction entered into a 50/50 partnership.
Tom confirms 100,000+ PPV Buys on first event.
Tom mentions he hasn’t been talking with Tito lately and didn’t think anyone on the Trump side was currently working with him.
Tom responds to Dana’s comment about it being horrible if they’re still around in January.
Tom and Affliction would be willing to work with UFC to make the Fedor vs Randy fight happen.
