At first glance off the main Forums board I thought UFC 90 was going to be called Murdered...lol. That would be messed up. Sorry, didn't mean to throw off the thread. Who's going to Chicago or who lives there that is attending?

i'm not really a fan of either silva nor cote, although Cote had better get his ass beat, maybe since it's a bit farther north than say...Vegas...some of his fellow former Canuck Soldiers of the great barren land will come down to see him get his face smashed into the canvas?

I am excited to get through the event. Anderson Silva wants one more fight after this one.

he's pickin his own fights now?? he's obviously gonna dominate unless he can't make weight, the spread is REDICULOUS right now on the sites I place bets

It's being reported that Sean Sherk will fight Tyson Griffin at UFC 90. I love this matchup and it really ads another headliner to the show.

This card is looking good so far.

Silva vs Cote

Alves vs Sanchez

Sherk vs Griffin

I can't help but feel bad for Cote, I rarely admit this...But he just isn't in the same league as Silva, I mean he's an excellent fighter with the ability of that random KO..But Silva is just going to eat him up.

I only see Cote winning by KO or a TKO, or Silva gets cut bad and they decide not to rule it a no contest.

So a rumor has been floating around that Sherk is actually fighting BJ at 90, can anyone confirm this?

i hope not, he doesn't deserve another title shot yet, "i've never done steroids, and i stand behind that", i'll tell you something else he stands behind...and that's another man

Sean Sherk is fighting Tyson Griffin. The winner of this fight will probably face Kenny Florian and the winner of the Florian vs Sherk/Grifiin fight will have a title shot.

I bet we'll see the BJ Penn vs GSP 2 fight before BJ defending his title.

Silva is the only fighter asking Dana for more fights a year. The other ones what their 2-3 he wants at least 4

but still, especially since he holds the belt he shouldn't have any say in who he fights even if it were to be back up in the light heavies
