Since Randy had such a high profile loss to Lesnar, what is next for him? Do you think he lwill fight his 2 more fights? if so, who? Do you think Dana will give him the option for another title fight? I suspect if Lesnar loses the title then Randy will be next in line to fight the new title holder Which on the current path would be Mir. Can he beat Mir?

I think Couture will take out Mir. Mir is strong but I dont think he has the knock out power to knock randy out. He's a great wrestler but I dont think he can beat couture on the ground either. IT would be an awesome fight to watch IMO. I would love to see that match up.

At the same time I dont think Mir will be able to beat Lesnar again. If he does .. we have had a lot of short term champions lol

Couture has said he doesn't care so much about champion fights but just fights that pose an interesting match up. He also said he is open to fight at 205 again. At least he isn't limiting himself!

Personally, I think Mir will beat Couture.I love Randy but he's pushing 50 and possibly the oldest fighter in all of mma.Mir is in his prime and much bigger.Randy also likes to take guys down, but I don't think he'll want to do that to Mir.

I dont think Mir will be too much of a problem for Randy because Randy fights smart. Mir is already full of himself.
As far as Randy's age, sooner or later it will become an issue. Time catches up with each of us. I wish he could keep fighting forever.
I just dont want to see him become the next ken Shamrock or anything. (not that I think he will)

SO has any one else heard anything about Randy's next fight? He says that he wants a rematch with Brock and still wants to fight Fedor.

Well UFC will never sign Fedor so he has to go to Affliction for that to work out. Fedor wants UFC to sign his whole team. His team is full of skilled fighters I'm surprised they don't go for it but I think Dana knows what he's doing or else UFC wouldn't be as big as it is now.

I am surprised Couture wants a rematch. Lesnar already beat him and he will be even better by the time he fights couture again so Randy would have to pull something out of his magic hat.

Randy should drop down to LHW since the new age HW's have to cut weight to reach 265. Randy walks around at 220-240. Lesnar and Carwin walk around at 280-290.

Randy and Nog is a dream fight and could very well happen. But I'd rather see him drop back down to LHW to fight the likes of Rampage, Machida, Franklin, Evans (because they both love to box), among others.

A new prospect fighter 21 year old 2008 Olympic Judo gold medalist Satoshi Ishii is now training at Xtreme Couture. He's looking pretty good, he's giving Randy problems rolling around on the ground. And has his eyes set on the UFC. I'm uncertain whether he will be fighting at HW or LHW. He weighed 240 at the olympics so I'm leaning towards HW. Check him out!

Randy wants to fight Fedor for his retirement fight. Hopefully that happens sometime within the next 2 years. Randy's getting up there.
