Kendal Grove looked back to his old ways after winning a split decision vs. Evan Tanner.  Grove's elbows and knee's are vicious when being launched by his 6'6" frame.  He got away from Tito and Big Bear and got back to his Hawaiian roots.  Tito's head is big enough for the both of them and Grove got a little too big for his britches and then lost two in a row.  He looked really sharp and I look forward to watch more of him.

I thought he looked good. But I kept wondering, was the fight too easy? I really hesitate to rain on his parade, but Big Freaking deal he beat the former champ. The sport has evolved so much in the last 5 years. I know it is something that people don't talk about, but the caliber of fighters has changed. The style of old does not mesh well with the new.

Maybe thats just me.

To say you beat someone from old school just doesn't impress me like it should.

Of course if you follow Sprawlers train of thought then it isnt saying much that Kendall beat some one who took the belt from Tito.
:) :)
