I'd like to ask how long Elite XC was gonna try to use Kimbo as their cash cow. It was easy enough to show bouts on CBS with Kimbo to people that knew nothing about mma and keep him from fighting any real mma fighters. I mean Shamrock is so over the hill I'am surprised he can still walk so they thought hey, everyone knows Shamrock and if Kimbo beats him he will be number one.Everyone will come to see Kimbo.
But payback's a b*tch for anyone with false marketing schemes. The world now knows that Kimbo is nothing a talentless poser, a chump of chumps.Hell I'am starting to think even I can beat him.But I'd still like to see Shamrock beat the crap out of him as I know he would.
CBS and Elite XC had the biggest loss last night with Kimbo getting knocked out by a jab from a light-heavyweight. There only hope is Tito...but I would hate to depend on him for anything.
I was a little surprised that they were going to keep trying to ride the same train again. Dont you think that someone a lot more talented and more asthetically pleasing should be the face of MMA on CBS?
Yeah.I mean Kimbo made EliteXC into a B.S. organization subject to trashing by real mma fans such as us.Now maybe with Kimbo gone and the merging with Affliction,EliteXC will become a real fighting organization that can actually compete with the UFC.
I'm not sure how long their contract was with Kimbo but I'm sure they will use this to their advantage. They may actually pair him up against someone with skills to show how their fighters can beat the baddest dudes from the street. He's still got ratings left but probably only one more fight or so.
