On July 26th EliteXC will have three fights on Showtime beginning at 8 p.m. ET before sending it over to CBS at 9 p.m. ET for four more fights. Robbie Lawler vs. Scott Smith (the rematch; will be the main fight on CBS), other notable fights include Jake Shields vs. Nick Thompson, Nick Diaz vs. Thomas Denny, and a Showtime title fight as Antonio Silva and Justin Eilers fight for the new EliteXC heavyweight title.
Picky picky. The format is screwy I know. I think they are making a mistake trying to make it seem familiar like wrestling. (By the way, I have not seen a wrestling match since 1992)
But some of the fights are good. I enjoy the fights. It is good when there are no other fights to see.
thanks for the update Sprawler!!

I just saw a commercial for this on TV. Obviously will watch it but it's great that there is events on every weekend this month from different organizers with 2 UFC events and the Affliction and the EliteXC events, exciting time for MMA.
I think Baroni wants to be a pro wrestler. I hear the production is going to change for the upcoming bout. Hopefully there is less talking and more fighting.
The dancers have to go...if they keep them could they at least be choreographed next time? The were just doing whatever up there and it looked like crap.
Dont hate on the EliteXC go-go dancers. They sure can drink that's for sure. For the Showtime PPV EliteXC in Hawaii last September I met BJ Penn and his crew, Nick Diaz, Robbie Lawler and a plethora of other fighters. (Gina Carano too , had to namedrop my future ex-wife) Hate the production or love it, it's still MMA and from what little I've seen/read/heard about it, it's going to be around for a while and you can't complain about fights in the end. Fights are fights...human nature is brutal and subconsciously everyone is drawn towards it.

Your right, the production doesn't matter if at the end of the day the fights kick ass, I just didn't like how it came off to the rest of the world that may have never seen MMA before.
Gina Carano is hot but I don't think I could be with a girl that could kick my ass.
