Unless you’re blind as a bat or have been under a rock and haven’t visited MMA Chump before, you may have noticed a slight change. Ok, it’s not slight, it was a complete re-design. We knew it was time to get more innovative and take on a new look but we wanted the edgy look of before to continue over.
We feel the new look will help you find the news and information you’re looking for easier but we didn’t have to sell out and go away from the edgy style we had before. Several new features:
Category Navigation - We narrowed the categories down and added sub categories to help you find information easier.
Featured news - we featured categories at the top to allow you to see recent news from certain areas of MMA easier.
Recent Section - to the right of the featured posts, you will see popular and recent posts. With recent comments and a tag cloud. This will help you stay up to date on popular, new and old items.
Home page - this was the biggest problem with the old site, so much information to display but no way to do it. The new design allows over 20 articles (with featured section included) to be displayed to allow easy access to breaking news in different areas of the MMA world.
Featured interviews, we have added interviews to the scope of MMA Chump and you will be able to see our recent interview on the right sidebar area from any page.
Less ads - We know we had a lot of ads and they were cluttered, with the new layout, we’ve reduced the amount of ads without sacrificing the exposure of our sponsors. No more refreshing ads either!
Still many features to come with MMA Chump but before doing that, we wanted to refresh the design and make your lives easier when trying to get up to date information. The design is still new so there may be a few bugs here and there. Please feel free to report them to us as you find them. We are also open to any suggestions and feedback via comment to this post.

all in all how long did that take? i only know like basic HTML for the shit that i post on myspace and whatnot, took C++ back in high school but i'm pretty sure there's a lot easier ways to program nowadays

I like the new look. I was going to comment on the old look but I felt a little out of place. I use to know HTML, took web design for two years in school. Then I never touched it since I got out haha I can't do anything now..
