I bring this topic up on Kimbo fighting in the UFC because it's been a common topic around my tight group of MMA addicts that I know. Do you think he would fair in the octagon? My opinion is that he doesn't belong in the UFC. Partly this could be considered discrimination but in a recent article in a magazine that I read Frank Mir spoke the truth when referring to him. I can't quote it in it's entirety but it was along the lines of "everyone has earned their place and worked hard to get where they are in MMA today, Slice didn't do anything except make some dumb videos of him street fighting, let him hit the gym and put years of sweat and blood into doing this, and then maybe people will have little respect for him"

I don't think he would last against a trained fighter. If he can't knock you out, it's over. Kimbo doesn't know what to do on the ground. I think he should stay where he is and I don't think Dana wants him.
He has potential but he's too old to put in the time to get to the next level (UFC). Business wise for Dana; I would have rather have had him for his first fight ever just for the ratings. The UFC doesn't seem to do this but I believe it's only down hill from here. Kimbo = Youtube Champ but MMA Chump.
Frank Mir has no room to say anyone doesnt deserve respect!! AFTER TAPPING FROM LEG KICKS!!!(chump) right now kimbo is a chump, but who knows he may turn into something some day.......OR NOT!!
