After some rather short conversations we've come to realize that we should have a Chump of the Night where we, the MMA fans decide who will meritoriously be crowned.  After a fightcard come in and type your thoughts on who deserves to take the crown for the card.  This voting can include the ref, fans in the venue, fighters themselves, or possibly even the cornermen.  Hell I know a couple times where I've wanted to just crown Joe Rogan the "Chump of the Universe" but that's personal.  Let's get opinionated!

You were talking about photo shop. Maybe we can create a big, goofy looking crown and put it on the photo of the winner. If this goes big we could even start making T-shirts!

I just remebered that Rob Emerson will be fighting Manny Gamboryan. Remeber how much of a chump Emerson was on the TUF show? Depending on how fast Manny destroys him, we could have our winner. Hate to jump the gun but I can't help looking at the card and seeing potentail award winners and Rob emerson is perfectly capible.Remeber when Emerson taped even after Greg Maynard at knocked himself out when he slammed him. Emerson's such a chump, I'am surprised he even got another chance?

i personally hope that we don't have to crown anyone, but we MUST so it's inevitable

Or week. With UFC this Saturday we should have a chump by Sunday morning. Rogan, Golberg, Mazagatti??? This is going to be half the fun (ok, less than half but interesting at least).

Let's just leave out Mazagati for now....unless he commits a rediculously chumpish action tonight.

And we can replace the guy and the dog on the left of the can with an image of the fighter.

So after last night, who does everyone think was the Chump? Thankfully Mazagatti was no where to be seen. I don't think anyone really stands out but I have a couple of Chump like instances:

-Dan Miragliotta- Eye gouges Heath Herring before the fight
-Cheik Congo being a dick at the end of the fight saying he should have a title shot. Are you kidding me?
-Brock Lesnar riding Heath Herring like a cowboy and talking shit after the fight. You just won your first match, be a little more respectful. It's not the WWE anymore.

I'd like to give Kongo an honorable mention, for blowing off (fellow chump) Joe Rogan for the interview of the fight, it'd be safe to assume he could lose sponsors from that
