Brock Lesnar, and now Kurt Angle are venturing into MMA. Brock single handedly ruined MMA in my eyes by showing that you don't have to know shit about the sport to get to the top you just have to sell tickets. I think this is complete bull shit. I think Kurt Angle and any other wrestler competing in MMA should be banned, they are already comming into the fight with savage steroid enchanced bodies, years and years of steroid abuse that Pro Wrestling looks the other way about. Its not fair because Kurt Angle is already a gigantic heavyweight like Brock Lesnar (steroid abuse).

It works both ways. At least UFC is bringing in people who are at the talent level needed. Elite XC brings in street fighters. UFC is the lesser of two evils on that level IMO

I disagree. UFC brings in talent level sure, they can wrestle but they also have a huge handicap over other guys. Elite XC brings in Kimbo he can strike but can't wrestle..But doesn't take steroids.. Elite XC is more legit in my opinion.

As a business person, you're telling me you wouldn't bring Brock Lesnar in even though you know you're going to make an extra million dollars on his fight cards?

Steroid Abuse? He MAY have done them. Dude brock is been that size his whole life. some people are just freakishly huge like that without roids.

I dont think lesnar should be fighting in a title fight yet, but its obvious for money reasons, he is. He is still a skilled fighter and he will be even better come his next fight.

It's going to be interesting to see how kurt angle does. He can definitely wrestle so we'll see how he rounds out his fighting style.

But I disagree, I dont think anyone should be banned from MMA. IF they have the skill level and they can bring a crows then why wouldn't they be alowed? I hate that fake pro wrestling bull shit too but you seem to be taking up to a whole new level.

banned?...you're a joke. Lesnar will go far. Angle will not (too many neck fusions). Did you forget that Barnett and Sakuraba are wrestlers too?

I think People should be banned on their own merit or lack thereof. Why the hell didnt they ban Jesse pisses on himself Taylor.

If they are going to ban people for ridiculous career choices, then ban dirty schmucks like JT also.

I agree with Z; Brock has been freakishly big his whole life. I knew a dude that wrestled him in high school and said he was HUGE then and rolling through people. He may have taken them later, even to recover from the intense wrestling schedule, but didn't do it for size. He was more ripped during his WWE days but he is working out for a much different result now.

Lesnar was a successful collegiate wrestler before he was a pro wrestler. And collegiate wrestling is the base of many fighters in MMA. I don't think people should judge him because he accepted a multi million dollar contract to jump from ropes and beat people with chairs. Being that young it was probably hard to shrug off that offer.

Josh Barnett is a pro wrestler out in Japan with a background in catch wrestling. Who happens to be on most sites, the #2 HW in the world.

Kazushi Sakuraba was also a pro wrestler out in Japan who happens to be a judoka and also has a background in catch wrestling. And dominated in Pride up until Wanderlei came into the mix and has some of the most memorable fights and submissions in MMA history. Think Royce Gracie vs Sakuraba's 16 round battle. or Sakuraba's standing Kimura against Renzo Gracie.

Anyways, this is the age of the super heavyweights. Look at Shane Carwin. The man is bigger than Brock and he is the dark horse in the UFC's HW division. "Pro Wrestlers" like Lashley and Lesnar are acceptable in MMA because of their collegiate wrestling experience and marketability. And it's highly unlikely we will see people like the Undertaker or The Rock making the transition. They'd get mauled.

I don't think anyone who wins constantly should be banned from the sport.I didn't think Lesnar could make it after his first round submission loss to Mir but since then, he's proved to be a recking ball.I now believe that he's gonna smash Mir when they meet again.
