Does anyone know what the deal is between the organizations?  Arlovski fought on Elite's fight card and Affliction paid him.  Affliction also had their name everywhere at the event and had more commercials than there was fight time.  Are they just cross promoting each other and using each others fighters to have more depth?  That seems the likely story to me.

I'm not sure but I'm trying to talk with Tom today to get the details.

They might as well merge the two and have a dual ownership(what ever you call it).I think that would help both the organizations.EliteXC is in desperate need of talent and Affliction is in desparate need of sposnsership so having those fights on CBS would draw a massive amount of new fans and potential buyers for the big events.Yeah, I think that's would they should do.

I think Mat speculated before that Elite may be the cable (free) portion and Affliction would be the PPV. This makes sense but after reports of CBS paying for Elite's last promotion, I wonder why Affliction did this. They want to go up and it seems Elite is going down. Maybe it would make it easier to sign their top fighters.

Another question for another friend is why would Tito sign with Elite XC when it seems like they are in the most trouble.

Hey.Affliction seems to be in trouble for different reasons.I believe that they wanted to get a couple of matches on free T.V. in order to draw more potential buyers for there next event.
But jeez I thought Tito signed with Affliction. I'am getting a little confused here.

I wonder if this was good, bad or indifferent for Affliction now that Pro-Elite has gone under. Arlovski got air time and Affliction paid for cheap advertisements but do people now associate Affliction with a bankrupt organization?

Didn't affect them at all. It wasn't a partnership. Just free advertising in exchange for lending there fighters.
