NY MMA Vote Set for Wednesday June 18

It appears that despite popular reports on Monday the 16th, that the Bill to Legalize Mixed Martial Arts will be voted on Wednesday June 18.

While many believe that this explains Dana’s announcement delay again, I don’t believe that the two have anything to do with one another. Nevetheless everyone would agree that this would not be “mind-blowing” enough to justify all the hype.

For those interested, The vote will be at 9:30am by the Committee on Tourism, Arts and Sports Development. If New York were to begin to sanction MMA Events it could create a snowball effect to remaining 15 states currently not prohibiting Mixed Martial Arts.

With Donald Trump getting involved with Affliction i believe its inevitable that us fans will get a fight at Madison Square Gardens soon.
