Fox 5 Hinders Legalization Efforts in NY

While there is still a push to get MMA legalized in NY, there are still news reports and people who are determined to make sure that it doesn’t get legalized.  Her preamble to the video makes it sound so much worse than it really is:

The reason there are underground fights is because it’s not sanctioned. If NY allowed sanctioned fighting, these types of events would not exist. Reports like these ultimately drive me crazy. Send an email to Fox 5 in NY showing your support of MMA.

    Personally, I would be afraid to visit New York City UNLESS it was to go to an MMA event. Now besides having a reputation as being a very dangerous city, they will be known as a city too ignorant to take advantage of a great money making situation. I am not a kid, I am a 62 year old grandmother who takes four family membes to MMA events.

    Dorothy: I think you speak for the majority and it’s a shame that publications like this stifle the efforts of making MMA mainstream.
