After last nights event it got me thinking, who would I put as the 3 weakest chins and 3 strongest chins in MMA?  After about an hour of deliberation, I came up with my list.  Please feel free to post your 3 weakest and 3 strongest.

3 Weakest Chins in MMA

  1. Kimbo Slice – Kimbo showed last night that behind the beard there isn’t much.  Seth laid a weak cross to Kimbo and got Kimbo off balance.  No way this should have knocked Kimbo off balance.  It was a weak ass punch.
  2. James Thompson – James Thompson has been knocked out twice in under 15 seconds.  And to think Kimbo struggled with someone who has such a weak chin.
  3. Chuck Liddell – Most of you are probably having a heart attach with this selection but the fact remains that when Chuck gets hit he drops.  (Rampage Jackson, Rashad Evans, etc)

3 Strongest Chins in MMA

  1. Forrest Griffin – This guy has taken punches square in the jaw from some of the toughest opponents and remains fighting after them.  Only losing two of his fights by TKO and only one by strikes.
  2. Jon Fitch – It’s no secret that Fitch can take a punch.  He proved that in his 5 rounds against GSP and his previous fights with only one loss by TKO and it was by a knee.
  3. Rashad Evans – Rashad has taken some punches from some top strikers and has remained undefeated in MMA just proving he can take whatever his opponent can dish at him.  He was quoted saying that Chuck Liddell’s punches didn’t really hurt all that much.

I think that Dan Henderson and Mark Hunt should be on that list for best chins. They are pretty much bricks walking forward. Same thing with Big Nog, considering he gets completely smashed in almost every fight and somehow gets in submissions… I think that shows how insane his chin is, if he can still think enough to get in a sub.

I agree that they have brick chins. Now that you mention in I think Big Nog should take #2 and Rashad Evans get moved down.

I agree that Mark Hunt should be added to the list, but what about CABBAGE. I dont think i have ever seeb that guy go down. He should be at the top of the list.
