Well if you're referring to just UFC heavyweights it would be Randy Couture, Nogueira, and Mir as my top 3 in the UFC.

Cheick Kongo is good but he needs to beat Lesnar, Couture, Nogueira or Mir to really prove his rank as a top heavyweight.

UFC's heavyweight was lacking some credentials and Couture's return brings in more top fighters. A lot of the top heavyweight fighters in MMA aren't with UFC.

I'm interested in some of your opinions regarding who the top three-to-five active UFC* heavyweights might be (and why). I like the 155lb division best myself, but I want to learn more about the HWs so I'm asking the experts.
For example, this Kongo guy, would he rate? Can Mirko ever win a big fight?..etc.
There simply seems to be fewer fighters to choose from in this division so easy to understand all the dialog about the fighters that are drawing media attention. Thanks.

* - (fighters under contract already, so not including Fedor E. )
