As we reported earlier this week, The Associate of Boxing Commissions released new unified rules that made significant changes to the weight classes.

Dave Meltzer of Yahoo Sports on July 6th that White Unequivocally said they have no intention of changing or adding to the company’s current five weight classes.

“There’s going to be a fight. And you know I don’t roll over easily.”

While its not mandatory that any state, athletic board, or promoter use the unified rules, it does create confusion for the casual fan.
