It appears that a Griffin Jackson Rematch is in discussion. The question would be will we have to wait for other fights first.
With so many potential top contenders I don’t even know which fight I want next.
Anderson Silva vs Lyoto Machida ?
Quinton Jackson vs Wanderlei Silva ?
Forrest Griffin vs Chuck Liddell or Rashad Evans ?
Wanderlei Silva vs Dan Hederson (the PRIDE fight was sick) ?
Keith Jardine vs Thiago Silva ?
and we didn’t even mention Mauricio Rua (does he deserve a rematch versus Forrest?)
I’m glad its not my job to decide the order of these fights. Who do you want to see next?

Of course there will be a rematch soon. The UFC will not allow a fight between Griffin and Machida. They need an american champion and Machida would destroy Griffin. Another brazilian champ is the least they want. By the way, this so called victory is very doubtful. If the opponent wasn’t another american fighter they would never give the title. Awful fight!!!

I find it funny that people think this decision was incorrect….Push the mute button and watch the fight again……unanimous does not mean the fighter won every round, just that every judge felt the fighter won. I agree that the UFC likes forest as a champ, but machida, he is more of a “running man” than Kaleb Starnes was when fighting Nate Quarry. Pull your head out man!!!!! brazialian jujitsi started it all…now go to bed!!!

“Machida won’t stand still and get his face bashed in for my entertainment, what a coward.” It’s called being tactical, and many great fighters used these types of tactics. The fact is, not one of us keyboard warriors would last ten seconds against any one of the fighters that we like to insult, criticize, and dissect. PS bjj is just recycled Kodokan Judo, with less emphasis on throws.
