As Dana had advised prior to the fight, Cote will get a title shot after his win over Almeida.

It should happen sometime around December assuming that Anderson Silva handles both Irvin and Yushin Okami without injury or loss.
Many fans were disappointed in the performance by Cote and presumed that the lackluster showing took him out of the hunt.
After Anderson Silva faces Yushin Okami Patrick Cote will get the winner.
