Random thoughts on Affliction Banned and UFC Fight Night 14

After watching two great programs at the same time I have some initial thoughts:
-A Peruvian neck tie is sick.
-Big John commentating and interviewing fighters is weird.
-The Donald standing next to Fedor and Couture doesn’t look right.
-Fedo r= myth no more.
-Anderson Silva should be the next to fight Forest for the title.
-Megadeath should be given a Mega-death.
-Arlovski got his pit-bull back.
-Hermes Franca needs to go back on steroids.
-Thanks to Silva’s quick work of Irvin so we could see the knock out of the night by Rory Markham on the undercard.
-I don’t like the ring. There were too many stoppages to get back on the mat. The octagon is patented but there are more geometrical shapes to choose from.
-Mike Goldberg’s quote of the night: “His precision……….is precise”. What insight!!!!

UFC must have been mad Affliction got Dean and they got stuck with Mazagatti.

In the ref’s defense he was at an angle that prevented view of the eye poke.

I like Mazzagatti. He is not the reason that the fight was called a TKO was he? Was it not the judges decision? Maybe I am wrong.
Was this the new career path for Big John? If so, he is doing the world a disservice. We need him to set the bar.
Affliction should nix the ring it looked sloppy seeing them falling out like potatoes out of a bag.
