Within a year, the UFC will be at the FedEx Forum in Memphis Tennessee.

As we reported earlier, by the last week in May both the house and senate of Tennessee passed a bill that legalized MMA.

It took 2 years, the creation of an athletic commission, and educating a ton of law makers in Tennessee but Steve Zito, senior vice president of operations and entertainment for the Memphis Grizzlies and FexEx Forum, and his team were more than up for it.

I think everyone is excited to see the efforts succeed and Dana White will reward Zito very soon.

“We will be in Tennessee very soon,” UFC president Dana White said. “Very soon, within a year.”
