MMAChump.com covered the story days ago when Rampage had the hit and run incident.
Yahoo Sports had an interview with Dana White and talked more about what led up to this weird incident. Some of those quotes bother me.
White said, “Rampage, the UFC fighter, who cares about that? We’re concerned about Rampage, the human being. What matters is his personal life.”
Sorry Dana, that is incorrect. Us fans care about Rampage, the fighter. We don’t know him personally although it seems like he would be hilarious to hang out with and could kick anyone’s ass who gave us crap.
White went on to say, “”He was up for four days and he was doing some crazy fasting thing. He was up for four days, drinking water and energy drinks, that was it. It’s not good.”
It’s not good? That would actually be fantastic if a human being was up for four days straight and all he was doing was drinking water and energy drinks. Speed kills my friends.
White follows with “”Rampage doesn’t do drugs. Rampage really doesn’t even drink. This whole thing made no sense to me. (Then) when I got there it made a lot of sense.”
What made a lot of sense; the fact he was drinking water and energy drinks, hadn’t slept for 4 days and had a hit and run with his moving billboard? Ya, that your right, it all makes sense now. If Rampage doesn’t drink or do drugs he may want to consider it. It may calm him down a bit.

While my opinion of Dana White had been in free fall for a while now I think I know what Dana is saying here.
When he said “This whole thing made no sense to me. (Then) when I got there it made a lot of sense.”, he wasn’t saying that it made sense to stay up for 4 days starving yourself and only drinking energy drinks. In other word, was not saying that he understood the logic behind Rampage’s new diet and sleep deprivation training plan. He was not saying that he approved of the new Rampage Training Regime [RTR©] and would enthusiastically encourage other fighters to adopt it.
What I believe he was saying was that once he saw Rampage’s state of mind and what he was doing to himself he understood why Rampage went on a Rampage (a.k.a Rampage on Rampage Incident, RORI). In other words he was saying he understood that RTR is what had caused Rampage to get in trouble.
Or more formally using propositional logic…
Let d be the proposition “I, Dana White, understand what was going on with Rampage.”
Let a be the proposition “I, Dana White, understand and approve of RTR.”
Let c be the proposition “I, Dana White understand that RTR is the primary cause of RORIs.”
d → ((¬a) ˄ c)

LOL I love the mathematical breakdown.
