On August 18th Matt Hughes posted on his blog:

Wednesday I go for my second MRI, so Wednesday afternoon sometime I’ll report on the findings.

This is considered old news however I keep checking for an update and he has not yet posted one. That was five days ago. I can only think of a couple scenario’s at this point. One is the obvious: he has yet to get back his MRI results. When I saw his statement that said he would receive his results the same day I thought that was crazy but it’s Matt Hughes. It would take me a week or more to get my results but when you have money and fame it’s a different story.

The second is that he did get the results and didn’t like what they were. I’m thinking no news on his blog is bad news. Maybe he has to get a second opinion, meet with another specialist, or talk to Dana White before he spills the beans.

This is all speculation of course but it’s five days after Hughes said he would post results. Hopefully he just hasn’t gotten to it. MMAChump will continue to update you and will update this blog when the results are released.
