Could Quinton Rampage Jackson be fighting Mauricio “Shogun” Rua for his next fight in the UFC? Shogun says there is a possible fight in the works.

They have fought in Pride before. On April 23, 2005 Shogun beat Rampage by KO at the 4:47 mark. Here’s the fight..

Rampage looks like a much better fighter these days. His fists fly more frequently and the cage adds a totally different aspect then the ring in Pride. As you can see from the fight Shogun is also able to get Rampage in some nasty clinches and actually ends the fight with kicks to the head. That of course is illegal in the UFC and I expect Rampage to win this fight if it happens.
