Georges St Pierre Going Hollywood: Death Warrior

GSP let fans know what he’s been up to in his recent blog post.  In the post GSP mentions he went to shoot a movie:

Later I went in Hollywood, CA to shoot a movie, which was pretty cool. I didn’t realize how much work filming a scene was – it took me an entire day to film four scenes. The director of the movie, Hector Echavarria, has been a great mentor and a huge help for me because it was the first time that I was doing something like this. He explained to me that acting was like fighting you need to focus on your role and what you need to do and forget about everything else around you being “in the zone”. Even though I believe I’m a way better fighter than I am as an actor, I really enjoyed my experience and look forward to do it again. 

GSP doesn’t go into much detail but it had this MMA enthusiast intrigued and on a quest to figure out what movie he would be starring in.  After searching for Hector Echavarria, I found a movie coming out called Death Warrior that would have none other than GSP himself.  The film is about the top fighters in the world coming together having to fight in a deadly game, a game to the death.

Who are the top fighters you ask?  Well the movie also stars Quinton Rampage Jackson and Anderson Silva to name a couple.  No other information is really available on the movie at the time this post was written.  Below are the character names for the 3 popular fighters:
