Just from the title of this post, you can see how big UFC 92 is going to be.  Only the three main fights have been finalized but there are other rumored bouts that we’ll post at the bottom.  The Jackson vs Silva fight has been moved around quite a bit but settled on the New Years Eve weekend card as Dana wanted to stack the event and I believe he succeeded.  The event will take place in the MGM Grand Garden.

Rampage Jackson has a November 3rd court appearance for his felony charges that he’s plead not guilty to.  The outcome of that could dictate his appearance in UFC 92.  Nonetheless, the names on this card are amazing and will be a nice christmas present for MMA fans as the event is scheduled for that time frame.

Rumored Bouts from MMA Junkie:

  • Champ Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Frank Mir (for interim UFC heavyweight title)
  • Champ Forrest Griffin vs. Rashad Evans (for UFC light heavyweight title)
  • Quinton Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva
  • C.B. Dollaway vs. Jorge Rivera
  • Dean Lister vs. Yushin Okami
  • Mustafa Al-Turk vs. Cheick Kongo
  • Brad Blackburn vs. Ryo Chonan
  • Ivan Serati vs. TBA

I’m getting really hyped just thinking about this card. I’ve heard for a week now that Evans vs Griffin is on this card..But it seems a little too good to be true…So is it 100% confirmed that its happening at 92?
