UFC Shifts Into High Gear

With 2008 coming to a close, UFC is shifting gears and churning out superfight after superfight with last months bizzare but entertaining Silva/Cote fight and last Saturday’s Couture/Lesnar heavyweight title fight. Not to mention on the same card for one of the best lightweight fights ever, Kenny Florian and Joe Stevenson.

My point being that UFC, as the year comes to a close, is getting closer and closer to something big for another organization, yep Affliction is putting out Day of Reckoning this winter and wouldnt you bet we have 3 UFC’s coming out around then: Ultimate 2008, 93 and the just anounced, too awesome for words, UFC 94 which will be featuring as the main event GSP/Penn 2 for the welterweight title.

You can say whatever you want about Dana White but dont call him stupid, he knows what fight fans want to see unlike a certain group of people who until recently had a show on CBS.
