UFC 90 is set to take place here in less than a week on October 25th 2008 with the headliner being Anderson Silva vs Patrick Cote.  You can get live updated odds for betting on UFC 90 at BetUs.

We are presented with a nice fight card for UFC 90, we will be going over predictions for UFC 90 for the main card as seen below:

The majority of fans see this one as an easy pick.  If Anderson Silva isn’t careful, Patrick Cote could bring an upset to the Spider.  We don’t think Silva will make that mistake, he rarely seems to screw up in a fight and finds ways to exploit opponents with their weaknesses.

We see this one as an easy pick for Silva.  Silva by KO, Round 1

UFC 90 Thiago Alves vs Josh Koscheck

This fight was originally scheduled for Thiago Alves vs Diego Sanchez.  At this point, I’m not sure if we’ll ever get to see Alves vs Sanchez.  Luckily Koscheck stepped up to the plate after Sanchez had to withdraw from the event due to a rib injury.  Whether Koscheck will still fight Dec 10th at the Fight for the Troops event is unclear at this point.

Koscheck must be looking to get his name back as a top contender because he has agreed to some “tuf” fights.  Josh could easily lose his next two fights if his Dec 10th fight is still scheduled as a go.

We pick Thiago to win this fight. Alves by KO, Round 2
