In last nights incredible main event, wrestling powerhouse Brock Lesnar knocked out Randy Couture. Randy immediately initiated his game plan moving his head ducking and dodging punches, keeping Lesnar up on the fence and even when taken down was able to stop Lesnar from teeing off on him like he did with Mir and Herring. At one point he almost picked him up and slammed him down leaving Lesnar frustrated and tired at the end of the 1st.

Round two was a different story. Brock controlled Randy. Even when being pushed up against the cage he threw out knees and he was smart with is punches and the beginning of the end started when Lesnar faked a left and slammed a right into Coutures temple landing him flat on his back. Lesnar pounced and started a barrage of hammer fists that Randy couldn’t defend.

I’m going to tell you right now, put him in there with any body you want and try and tell me if Nogueira can get him on the ground than he can win. NO HE CAN’T IT WONT HAPPEN! Lesnar is too strong and too fast for Nogueira. Now that he’s fought Mir there’s no way he’s gonna go to the ground when he knows that Mir has ZERO chance of knocking him out. Expect him to be the heavyweight divisions Anderson Silva, expect him to remain the champ for a long long time……what was it i said ” I hate to say it but this is a coronation for the new king. All hail the Next Big Thing.” yep that was it.

Yuck…..I agree with your review of the fight, as much as it pains me to do so. Most of the people who were watching the fight with me agreed that the reason that they do not care for him as a fighter is his lack of respect for other fighters.

It is true that he has the talent and natural abilities. However there is a standard of behavior that we have come to expect from our fighters. Could it be that Lesnar does not reach this standard? Or are we all just resentful of his wins? He may just be too new a fighter for us to stomach his brash attitude. Whatever it is, I can emphatically say that there are many who are clamoring for his defeat or at least an attitude adjustment.
